Personal and business correspondence, receipts, receipted bills, accounts, promissory notes, cancelled checks, invoices, and numerous fragments detailing the activities and lifestyle of the prosperous Floyd-Jones family and the mercantile business, Jones and Bailey, which supported them (ca. 1807-1900). Prominent in the collection are items relating to Henry Floyd-Jones. Also included are items relating to the Haff family, with which the family had business dealings, and to Alexander Campbell.
